Yamashita SQUISH 5-1 Squid Lure

The Yamashita SQUISH 5 1 is a compact squid lure designed to give squid a more natural feel when they grab hold. Its incredibly soft Squishy Body mimics the texture of natural prey, helping reduce suspicion and encouraging squid to hold onto the lure for longer, giving you a better opportunity to set the hooks.

At just 50 mm long, the SQUISH 5 1 is particularly effective when squid are feeding on smaller prey or when a more subtle presentation is required.

Yamashita's Warm Jacket technology uses a specially designed fabric covering that absorbs and retains warmth from light. This creates a slight temperature difference compared with the surrounding water, helping the lure imitate the characteristics of real prey and adding another attraction for feeding squid.

The fabric covered body also allows Yamashita to produce detailed and varied colour patterns designed to perform across different water clarity and light conditions.

The SQUISH can be fished above a weight or weighted squid jig and can be attached directly to the leader or used as a dropper as part of a multi lure squid rig.
