The Ugly Stik GX2 Travel Spinning Rod combines the legendary strength and durability of Ugly Stik with a compact four piece travel design.

Built using Ugly Tech construction, the blank combines graphite and fibreglass to provide an excellent balance of strength, sensitivity and durability. The famous Ugly Stik Clear Tip adds extra responsiveness while retaining the toughness the range is known for.

At 7ft long with a Medium power rating, this model is a versatile choice for lure fishing, spinning and general purpose fishing. Its 6 to 15lb line rating and 1/8 to 5/8oz lure rating make it suitable for a wide range of lighter lure fishing situations.

The four piece construction makes the rod much easier to transport and store than a conventional two piece rod, making it particularly useful for holidays, travelling anglers or keeping in the car.

PVD coated Ugly Tuff one piece stainless steel guides help reduce line wear, while the shrink tube EVA handle and ergonomic reel seat provide a comfortable and secure grip. Alignment markings on the sections also make the rod quick and easy to assemble correctly.
