The Shimano Speedmaster II 8 is a compact, powerful lever drag multiplier designed for serious saltwater fishing. Combining a rigid HAGANE Body with a two speed gearbox, smooth Cross Carbon Drag and Shimano's corrosion resistant components, it delivers excellent strength and control without the bulk of a larger multiplier.

The two speed system allows you to use the fast 6.2:1 ratio for quickly recovering line, then switch to the powerful 4.1:1 low ratio when extra torque is needed while playing hard fighting fish or retrieving heavy tackle from deep water.

Its compact S Compact Body makes the reel comfortable to hold, while the Super Free Spool system reduces friction for smooth free spool performance.
