The balanced 4000 size is well suited to lure fishing, feeder fishing and general freshwater or inshore saltwater use. Shimano’s G Free Body positions the reel’s centre of gravity closer to the rod, helping improve balance and reduce fatigue during repeated casting.

SilentDrive technology reduces unwanted movement and vibration within the reel for a smoother and quieter retrieve. The ARC aluminium spool provides controlled line release for longer, more accurate casting, while the Anti Twist Fin helps manage slack line and reduces the risk of line dropping beneath the spool.

A strong 11kg front drag provides plenty of control when playing larger fish, while three shielded stainless steel ball bearings and one roller bearing deliver reliable smoothness under pressure.
