Sakura presents the Iranja 71 LJ, a "Light Jigging" reel designed for vertical fishing at sea from a boat. Its low profile and compact design, combined with a very robust aluminum body, make it an ideal reel to equip our jigging casting rods.
Its versatile gear ratio gives it both speed and ample torque. This is very useful for using lures at great depths and for confidently fighting large fish.
This ratio will also be able to transmit enough speed per crank turn to animate jigs, soft lures intended for meagre or pollack, without too much pedaling, or to follow a nice drift with madai jigs!
