The PENN Battalion III Popping Rod is built for demanding saltwater lure fishing and targeting powerful predators. Designed as the successor to the renowned Carnage Extreme Popping rod, it combines serious lifting power with a surprisingly light and responsive blank.

The blank uses a special blend of high quality carbon fibres to create a slim, powerful rod with excellent sensitivity. Its progressive tip action helps work large surface lures effectively, while the strong mid section and stiff butt provide the power required to control hard fighting fish.

Fitted with genuine Fuji Alconite guides and a Fuji reel seat, the Battalion III is designed to withstand heavy use with both braided and monofilament lines.
