PENN Tidal is the new and exclusive Surfcasting Series in PENN. Tidal rods stand for everything you need for surfcasting: Super strong but lightweight and responsive 30T 3 – piece, 4.2m carbon blanks that are designed to have the best distance properties and all rods are combined with a Sensitip for showing even the smallest bites. The range consists of four unique models that can be recognized by colour – all being different with respect to the power. The metallic silver PENN Tidal (50-200g) version is made for the lighter fishing styles like e.g. beach ledgering or fishing from a pier where no heavy tackle is required. The metallic green (100-225g) version and metallic blue (100-250g) versions are real all-round surfcasting rods that can be used under any kind of condition. However, when distance and power is all that matters, the metallic red PENN Tidal (100-300g) version is the rod that you need to get the job done
